The hardest part of getting going was picking a theme to start out with. This one looks like a great start and the development is current which is always welcome. Previous experience with static site generators has been with WP2Static, Jekyll, and an extremely brief bit of tinkering with Gatsby. I will be picking Gatsby up again for my bekabug.github.io page where I learn the Fluent UI.
